One down, two to go...

My oldest daughter left for college today. Something that many people experience at some point in their lives but when it happens to you its hard to believe that anyone can understand the mixture of pride, love, excitement, and a little loss that your feeling.



She now lives near UC Riverside where she will study statistics.

I'll miss her sneaky, sarcastic sense of humor and her GIANT hugs that we all became accustom to enjoying on a daily basis. She is smart, tough, and very sweet and I'm sure she will succeed at what ever she puts her mind to. Hopefully the knowledge that her dad is extremely proud of her and that he is always there to back her up will make her journey a little more enjoyable.

Update! The Puma tribe won, no one came close. I do have to say that the Maco tribe made a grate sand sculpture of a shark eating one of the Brave's sister. They won the prize for most creative use of a condiment. but there was one really cool
